leaf

Following on from this morning’s leaf haiku, here are the other haiku written for Freya Pickard’s series on ‘leaf’…

heart barking of love
once a year the oak leaf falls
for propaganda

nudist colony
beeches are full of bathers
soaking up sunlight

the wrong kind of leaf
train timetables slip through red
on the sycamore

winter memory
paints leaves between the lines
drawn by a harsh wind
