Magnificent

My girlfriend disassembles
I worship every part
Without a doubt my favourite’s
the ever-beating heart
Her body is magnificent
I love it – yes! – to bits
But truly what I like the most
Is battling her wits
“The way you play with words,” she says
“It really turns me on
Such a shame that when you’ve come
I only wish you gone.”
“Peace,” I cry, “my sharp-toothed girl
With cruelty you’re cursed!
That’s why I try so hard – ha ha!
To satisfy you first.”
