Tentacles, tentacles, tie me up, please!

Tentacles, tentacles, tie me up, please!
My legs you must tether, my arms you must seize
Each movement I make is a freedom too far
My squirming defiance you must stop, you must bar
Are your limbs not as strong as the serpents that swim
In the Amazon river? My chances are slim…
Is their versatile strength like the elephant’s trunk?
If so then my chance of escape’s truly sunk
But that’s not what I wish for, I ache to be yours
Helpless suspended or down on all fours
A glimmer of hope is a terrible tease, so
Tentacles, tentacles, tie me up, please!

Oh, what it would be to live inside your mind.

    • Frank says:

Thank you for making me laugh.

It can get very weird inside my head at times, partly because my mind takes random ideas and pursues the logic to absurdity. In this particular case, however, I just liked that first line so much. And that came from thinking there was probably no good way to rhyme with ‘tentacle’ – although maybe…

My room is lined with pentacles
      That summon nightly tentacles
To clean my room and make it shine
And leave it smelling quite divine…

Please leave a reply. Please! Pretty please! Cherry on top...
