By dead of night

A Martian field by dead of night
Was witness to a sweet delight
A hasty, furtive meeting there
Between two lovers on a dare
Unseen except by windows dark
They met and stripped within the park

The Eiffel Tower loomed above
As eagerly they showed their love
They kissed, they fondled, were not shy
And laughed at startled passers by
But when they heard the copper cough
They quickly dressed and scurried off
