Lilith

Her eyes have seen a thousand nights
Their cold depths echo dark delights
Her silky hair and smooth-skinned hands
Have travelled far ’cross sea and sands
Her timeless beauty’s ancient lure
Seduces all who think they’re pure
Enraptured men have suffered ill
In thinking they could bend her will
She’s warred with words and fought with fist
Has monarchs killed and princes kissed
So when she summons, heed her call,
For she’s the mistress of us all
