A Hot Night in Bangkok

So… My first time in Thailand, my first night in Bangkok, out after midnight…

Started the night getting kinky at The ‘S’ Bend in the heart of the red light district, then finished off at The Tightest Curve in Bangkok (and who doesn’t appreciate tight curves, eh?) where I think I saw a giant vampire bat…

And just in case you got the wrong impression from any of that, here’s a poem to mark the occasion:

pink flower bushes
moon high in the midnight sky
Buddha watches all

Still not convinced? Okay, how about:

Sky Train serpentine
concrete posts like jungle trees
dark shadows below

Satisfied? Yes? No? Oh, well, since I’m being poetic about this fascinating city…

yellow-green taxis
fill the streets like pretty sweets
orange, pink, blue, red,…

Gosh, you’re quite the traveler! Is this for work or just a holiday?

I’m actually in Singapore for the whole of next week for work, so I combined it with a couple of days in Thailand for various meetings. Tomorrow (Friday) I get to be a tourist for a few hours, yay!

I do like travel – it gives me time to think about new stories to write…

Loved the short poems. Hope you’re having a great time.
