Epic Giveaway

My novel, Kings of Infinite Space, matured for 10 years on a dusty shelf and published without acclaim last year, has just been revamped, so to speak, with a new description, a new cover and a bunch of tags. I have also, reluctantly, removed the prologue, which is non-essential to the story and quite possibly off-putting (my wife certainly dislikes it).

It’s an epic fantasy with gods, wizards, priests and even a princess, and there are also shape-shifters and vampires. Indeed, the main character is Hrana, mother of the vampire race.

A little backstory…

Although presented as fantasy, at its heart it is science fiction. In the not-so-far future, maybe the twenty-fifth century, humans have spread out into the galaxy, meeting and interacting with thousands of alien species. Trader World is an orbital ring about a gas giant, with a population of over forty billion Traders, a migrant amphibious species, and home also to millions of refugees, of thousands of different species, from across the galaxy. The InDiRi, an ancient race of gods, seal Trader World off from the rest of the galaxy, and create a huge ringworld, called OhLo, with mountains and oceans. Advanced technologies are not allowed by the InDiRi, but a psycho-kinetic energy field pervades OhLo and this can manipulated like magic by its inhabitants. This is called wizardry.
